Xiazhou is a small village on the outskirts of Guangzhou, one is able to walk along the shops and fruit markets and experience day to day Chinese life. The various canals that run through the village offer many things. By walking through the alley ways and lanes of Xiazhou one is able to look into the homes of Chinese people. Overall, the village offers a great insight to the average tourist.

Travel to Xiazhou - Visa Requirements

Easiest way to get in is probably by Taxi costing around RMB $50 from downtown Guangzhou
