Travel to Subang Jaya - Visa Requirements
Getting in to Subang Jaya is a breeze, with highways connecting it to Kuala Lumpur by Federal Highway, NPE(New Pantai Express ), directly to Bangsar, NKVE(North Klang Valley Express) , among others , connecting this township to all over Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.
One of the best connected Township in the country.
Tours and Getting around Subang Jaya
It is recommended to get around by driving as public transport can take some getting used to. The Kommuter (train) is famous for frequent delays which can be between 20 mins to an hour. Taxi drivers are known to overcharge and the buses destinations are often not clear unless you ask the usually less-than friendly bus drivers. However the bus services are cheap, and buses that connects to Bandar Sunway, Puchong for RM1.00. The buses are in blue & yellow.
Subang Jaya tourist attractions and sightseeing
Sunway Lagoon Resort and Sunway Pyramid is a must tourist attraction.One of the best shopping area in Subang Jaya.
Subang Parade is the oldest mall in this district, with middle to high end brands available.
There's plenty of food outlets in this area, from hawkers to 5 stars restaurant.

- Subang Parade. Shopping, cafes and dining.
- Sunway Pyramid. Nearest mega-shopping complex and waterpark, plus lively nightlife with clubs and bars, in neighbouring Sunway.
- 3K Sports Complex. Community complex featuring indoor swimming pool, badminton courts, squash courts, many other activities available here.
Subang Jaya souvenirs and shopping
- Carrefour Subang Jaya, SS16. Next to Subang Parade is the Carrefour hypermarket, also situated conveniently next to the Subang Jaya KTM Train station. It is often bustling due to it's proximity with the train station and major bus and taxi stop, with a steady flow of patrons and passerbys.
- USJ Taipan. In USJ, the Taipan shoplots are littered with a variety of shopping and services from mini markets, restaurants, clinics, banks, cafes, fashion outlets and many more, it is noted for traffic congestions (notably lack of substantial parking space) during working hours.
- Subang Parade, SS16. Family oriented shopping mall with a variety of local stalls on weekends. Houses a lot of boutiques and fashion outlets and popular dining such as T.G.I. Fridays, Sushi King, Uncle Lim's, Secret Recipe and Big Apple Donuts.
Subang Jaya has one of the best planned Township in the country.The people are highly educated, and knows what they want.The MPSJ-Subang Jaya Municipal Council, are kept on it's toes.
You can "see" a well planned layout through out Subang Jaya/USJ.Seeing a township which is almost 30 years in , & still growing, is not an everyday occurence.I grew up here and I love this place.No Place can compare to it.
Subang Jaya Restaurants: cheap, moderate and expensive
Eating is the favorite pastime of all Malaysian, including Subang Jayans.
Food outlets are dotted around the township, from fast food restaurants such as McDonald's, KFC, Shakey's Pizza , to bakery/confectionery i.e J&Co Donuts at Sunway Pyramid, Big Apple Donuts (now open in Subang Parade), to restaurants such as Tony Roma's, The Manhattan Fish Market, Nando's Chicken. etc.
The best "Rojak" and "Cendol", can be found here in Subang Jaya, located at SS 15, opposite the Shell petrol station (used to), has moved further down the the street to a kiosk in front of the Chinese restaurant {opposite Pan Bakery). It's easy to spot from the main road due to the incessant long line of hungry customers. The prices are reasonable from RM2.50 to RM5.00.The Cendol kiosk is right next to it. ENJOY...
Subang Jaya nightlife, bars, clubs and pubs
Around Subang Jaya are countless pubs, cafes and hawker stalls, where one can drink to one's content. Nearby hotels provide drinking spots.
All kinds of drinks, desserts, etc can be found here.

Friendly, multicultural.
