The closest hotels are located in Redmond, 15 miles north of Bend.
Camping
Many visitors to Smith Rock opt for the bivouac camping area. Although it is considered primitive it does have picnic tables, running water, flush toilets and shower facilities. Backcountry
There is no backcountry camping at Smith Rock as it is only permitted in designated areas.
