It is not to be confused with Saint Thomas in the Virgin Islands.

Culture and History

Saint Thomas is on the opposite end of the island as most of the resorts in Montego Bay. It's economy is quite depressed.

The local residents are very proud of their national hero, Paul Bogle, who led the Morant Bay Rebellion in 1865. A significant event in the history of Jamaica and the struggle for freedom against Colonialism for people all over the world.
