Okapi Wildlife Reserve is in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Culture and History

Okapi Wildlife Reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage site situated about 40km west of Mambasa on the road between Beni and Kisangani. The park HQ is around 300m from the towm of Epulu. The park has an Okapi breeding program and there are around 20 captive Okapi's in the park. There are camping facilities situated on the Epulu river and activities in the Jungle can be organised.
