The Northern Circuit (道北 Dōhoku) covers the northern and inner part of the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido.

The Norther Circuit is composed of the following three subprefectures:

  • Kamikawa
  • Rumoi
  • Soya

Cities

  • Asahikawa - Hokkaido's second-largest city, famed for being the coldest place in Japan
  • Wakkanai - Japan's northernmost town

  • Furano - popular ski resort with near-guaranteed perfect powder
