Kite Bar (Tongan Bob’s) Tonga Bob’s, the official kite bar of Tonga is situated in the centre of the main town of Neiafu. Over looking the harbour, Tonga Bob’s plays the perfect setting for unwinding or winding up after a long session out on the water.
Serving a variety of drinks and cocktails as well as Mexican cuisine, during the day Tonga Bob’s relaxes into a chill out style bar and restaurant but as the sun sets over the Port of Refuge the bar kicks into gear offering a wide range of live entertainment nightly, These include bands, acoustic sessions, DJ’s and traditional/cultural dances. Satellite TV’s also play throughout the bar displaying international sporting events as well as Kiting and surfing DVD’s. (The owner will also play homemade kite dvd’s and footage on request, so bring along your home made epics).
Be it chilling during the day when the wind has died out or over a few drinks in the evening after a couple of hours you will feel part of the furniture after meeting the many local personalities both Tongan and expats that call Tonga Bobs their local. Visit our website kitevavau.com
