Nagarkot attractions and sightseeing
Nagarkot, often called a hill station, used to be the summer retreat for the royals. It offers a magnificent panaromic view of the Himalayas on a clear day. There are a few monasteries and temples around and village walks are recommended too. The first boutique resort built in traditional architecture, The Fort, offers an uncontested view with excellent accommodation and dining facilities. The resort not only has its own organic garden, it boasts a wide variety of trees and flowering plants.
