Lolland is an island in southern Denmark. The island is situated at the busy traffic connection between Copenhagen and Germany, thus many people come to the island, but only few of them stop there.

Travel to Lolland - Visa Requirements

By Car

Most people arrive either with the motorway through the tunnel from Falster or with the ferry [1] from Puttgarden in Germany to Rödby. There is also a ferry line from Tårs to Spodsbjerg at the island Langeland.

By Train

The local railway "Lollandsbanen" connects Nakskov, Maribo and Sakskøbing with Nykøbing Falster on the mainline from Copenhagen to Hamburg. On "Lollandsbanen" and to Copenhagen at least one train per hour. To Hamburg 4-6 times a day

Rødby Færge (Ferryport) is also on the Hamburg line

By Air

Nearest airport is Copenhagen ...200 km north!

There is a little airport for small private planes in Holeby.

In Nakskov there is a reataurant called Fjorden, with a wonderful view to the sea and 100 meters to the popular beach Hestehovedet.

Drink some beer! It is some kind og national drink. Young people, and older, and midage, goes at Bars, pup's, dance clubs. There is one dance club in Nakskov which is called Zone Nigntclub.
