Up in Salisbury are some of the largest hills in the state, including Mt. Frissel, Mt. Riga, and Bear Mountain.

The Litchfield Hills Comprise of Litchfield County and Northern Fairfield County. The farther north you go, the less dense you will find it.
Climate
This area has a very diverse climate. In the winter, you will find temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to near zero. There will be snow, and on occasion, blizzards and ice storms. In the spring, the temperature will warm up to a range from 40 to 70 degrees. There will be rain every once and a while. In the summer, temperatures have been known to go as low as 40, and as high as 106, but the average is near 75. This is the time for outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming. In the Autumn, this area is famous for is colorful trees. The weather is about the same as it is in the spring, except slightly drier.

The Litchfield hills is populated by mainly English-speaking people. There is no set accent, but many different accents ranging from Boston accent to New York accent.

There is no major airport in the area, but Bradley Internatinonal Airport is a large airport, in nearby Hartford County. This airport has flights going worldwide.

Throughout the region, there is an endless supply on any food you can name. Mexican, Italian, Japenese, Indian, BBQ, Polish, etc. There tends to be more eating opportunity in the south, only because it is more densely populated. There are still plenty of restaurants in Litchfield County.
