Khamlia is a very little village in desert by the biggest dunes Erg Chebi in Morocco. It is about 7 km from village Merzouga on way to Taouz, Zagora and M´Fis - mineral mine. Both to Zagora and M´Fis you can go only by 4x4. To Taouz is going asphalt road. In Khamlia are now three smal shop, coffeehouse and the school. Here is also electricity and water. All houses are together 32 and here lives about 150 persons. Majority of people are black. Of course, you will find here the famous music group Gnawa. Theirs music is ritual music and communicate with mystery. To go to Khamlia is not easy if you not have the car. But you can take taxi or some other driver from Merzouga. And to go from Khamlia is more difficult because the people will not let you go back. They are happy for you. It is still calm and peaceful life. Image:Village.Jpg
