Jallo National Park is near Lahore in Pakistan, on the road to the Indian border point of Wagah

History

It was developed in the 1980s for an open forest like park. It has its own zoo, a lake and many playing fields.

Landscape

Mostly open with tree area with open and large spaces for animal and birds within the zoo.

Travel to Jallo Park - Visa Requirements

By bus or taxi from Lahore. Local trains used to run in the past.

Fees/Permits

Entry ticket for adult and children.

Tours and Getting around Jallo Park

Cars are allowed within the park. You can drive or stroll on foot if you like.

Jallo Park tourist attractions and sightseeing

The zoo, a lake with boating, playing fields, and several sunny and shady areas.

Jallo Park Restaurants: cheap, moderate and expensive

There are few places where you can get food and drink within the park. However bringing your own picnic food is desirable.

Jallo Park cheap and luxurious hotels, youth hostels and lodging

There is a TDCP motel inside this park that can booked for overnight stay
