Isesaki is a stop on the JR Ryomo Line, and is the terminating station on the Tobu Isesaki Line.

From Tokyo, Tobu trains depart from Asakusa Station. Using JR, commuter trains from Ueno station take approximately 2 1/2 hours at a cost of ¥2210. Take the JR Takasaki Line and change at Takasaki to the JR Ryomo Line. It is also possible to use the Joetsu or Nagano Shinkansen from Tokyo to Takasaki and then change to the Ryomo Line; this takes about 1 hour 50 minutes at a cost of ¥4900. JR trips are fully covered if you have a Japan Rail Pass or JR East Rail Pass.
