  • Community of Christ World Headquarters, [7], 1001 W Walnut St, (816) 521-3045, Absolutely beautiful dome and spiral buildings, tours and history exhibits, and a children's peace museum dot this huge area.
  • Mormon Visitors' Center, 937 W Walnut, (816) 836-3466, [8] Newly remodeled, the wonderful garden grounds and museum tell the history of the Mormons' persecution and journey west.

Once home to famous artist George Caleb Bingham, the home is directly across the street from the National Frontier Trails Museum.
