Gondik is a small village near Aqre, in the Duhok region of Iraq.

Travel to Gondik - Visa Requirements

15 km from Aqre. Return taxi from Duhok should cost no more than 40,000 dinars. Journey takes approx. 1,5 hour.

Gondik tourist attractions and sightseeing

The engravings of Gondik cave: Carved scenes in stone, including a number of animals and a sitting man. They have been dated to the third millenium B.C.

The cave is located on the top of the hill behind the village.
