You can just walk around, it's a small city. There are taxi's waiting at the bus terminal, though.
Durazno attractions and sightseeing
- Cows. In abundance.
- Cemetery.
- Sports museum. Only if you are very interested, it's far from a spectacular museum. Located in Gral. Manuel Oribe, near the plaza.
- Durazno Zoo. Free entrance, many different animals like monkeys, lions, tigers, birds and more. Some of the cages for the animals are a bit small, though, you should make the keepers aware about it.

- Pop music festival, (annually in January).

Durazno Restaurants: cheap, moderate and expensive
Pan y Vino is a popular place, located in the same building as the bus terminal. There are also various restaurants in Gral. Manuel Oribe and around the various plazas.
Durazno nightlife, bars, clubs & pubs
Two bars in Gral. Manuel Oribe, near the bus terminal. Gets crowded around 1-2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Durazno cheap and luxurious hotels, youth hostels & lodging
Hotel Central offers singles for 33$ and doubles for 63$.
