Travel to Dalaman - Visa Requirements
The international Dalaman Airport (IATA: DLM – ICAO: LTBS; [1]) is situated about 6 km south of Dalaman town center, and is the nearest airport for destinations such as Marmaris, Dalyan, Fethiye, Kaş and their vicinity. Daily flights connect with Istanbul, while direct flights (both scheduled and charter) to and from major European cities occur several times weekly. At present there are two passenger terminals – one for international flights and one for domestic – which handle a total of 2.5 million passengers each year. The terminals are 200 meters apart and are connected by walkways. A new, much larger international terminal is under construction, and is scheduled for completion in 2006. This will presumably reduce the often-lengthy time presently spent waiting in queues.
