Crocodile Bridge is a rest camp in the Kruger National Park. It is a gate site, and may be useful for you if you are late arriving and the KNP gates are shut!

Travel to Crocodile Bridge, visa requirements

From Nelspruit - Head to Malelane and then on to Komatipoort (about 110 kms). After Komatipoort, head onto R571 and drive to Crocodile Bridge Gate (approx 5 hrs). The camp is at the gate.

  • The Southern Circle - game viewing area with large numbers of wildlife.

City tours

  • Guided trail to nearby Hippo Pool, also see Bushman Rock Art.
  • Morning, day and night game drives
  • Lebombo eco trail a 500km 4x4 motorised trail which runs the length of the KNP. Only 4 people can be fit in each 4x4, and only 5 are allowed on the trail at a time.   • Camping - R105,00 pppn, based on 1–2 sharing, max 6 people. Extra adult: R36,00pppn, child: R18,00 pppn.
  • Safari Tent – communal facilities - R250,00pppn, based on 1-2 sharing, max 2 people
  • Bungalow - R525,00 pppn, based on 1-2 sharing, max 3. Extra adult: R104,00 pppn, child: R52,00 pppn.
