  • Parque Nacional Piedras Pintadas, or the Painted Rocks National Park, home to Venezuela's largest collection of pre-Hispanic petroglyphs. The park is about 20km northeast of Valencia. Take the highway exit at Guacara and then head 6km north towards Vigirima. Turn left off that road at the Cadafe Tronconero sign of the state power company for a further 3km to Cerro Pintado.
