Tarom [1] flies daily to Baia Mare from Bucharest, except on Fridays and Saturdays. Austrian Airlines(www.austrian.com) flies 3 times a week from Vienna to Baia Mare(monday,wednesday and friday) Departs Baia Mare at 4:10PM local time. Flights were suspended indefinitely as of February 2009.
By train
There are three trains daily from Bucharest or Cluj, one from Timisoara and one from Budapest. Check timetables on infofer.ro
