Culture and History
Ari is the original Dhivehi name of the atoll, while Alif Alif and Alif Dhaal are administrative codenames for the northern and southern parts of it.
Travel to Ari - Visa Requirements
Resorts in the Ari atolls are typically reached by seaplane from Male, which takes 20-30 minutes. Speedboat transfers are available at some resorts, but take at least several hours.

- Mirihi, [2]. Highly rated resort, great diving even on the house reef. They make their money on the drink (even water) however.
- Vakarufalhi Island Resort, South Ari, ☎ +960-6680004, [3]. Tiny circular island with 50 beach-facing, fairly basic bungalows. Most people come here for the diving, provided by ProDivers.US$200.
